Betiana Bradas was born June 10, 1976, in Rosario, a city of Santa Fe, Argentina. Her hometown Chovet is where she spent childhood and teen years, playing between metals and steel that her father turned to modify to generate industrial products. It is there where her curiosity began for the textures, materials, and forms that until today make Betiana continue investigating her artistic career.
At 18, she returns to the city of Rosario to begin her studies in Marketing and Graphic Design, at the same time painting with María Alicia Vicari, BA in Fine Arts for 8 years and workshops on identity and project with renowned artist Claudio Roncoli in Buenos Aires. When she finishes her studies, she opens "Designio Diseño", her own graphic design studio for 3 years, as well as working the family business in the area of research and development. In 2013, began her career in Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario and set up her own atelier.
As a teacher, he assisted Horacio Gorodischer in typography (Rosario School of Graphic Design). In the "Day Center" for people with disabilities and taught workshops for children. Created "Quetupe Casa de las Artes" in Rosario where she offered the community different ways of approaching the arts through workshops accessible to all ages. In the Copa de Leche Foundation, art programs and craft workshops to reinsert young people into society.
Following her impulse in the constant search she begins traveling; in July 2013 he arrives in New York and performs Contemporary Art in Sothebys and painting workshop with Rebecca Schweiger. In 2014 he took a course on Introduction to Curatorship, Espacio dos puntos in Buenos Aires. In 2015 he returned to NY and made a short course on Contemporary Art at Christie's. In the year 2017 I hold a workshop on different techniques in the art (collages) at Casa Matienzo in the city of Buenos Aires as well as Introduction to Curatorship course carried out by NODE, Spain.
In 2014 he held his first exhibition at "Art Center Wynwood" for Art Basel in the city of Miami. There he met Nina Torres Fine Art, and it was from there that he made many exhibitions for his gallery, both in Miami and New York. I perform Live Performers at the Dubai Art Fair as well as for the Conrad Hotel in the city of Miami. His works were for 3 years in the permanent exhibition for the James Knight Center in the city of Miami for Nina Torres Fine Art. Parallel to his continuous artistic training, he has exhibited his works in Rosario, Buenos Aires, Miami, New York, Dubai, Oxford, Barcelona, Marbella, Amsterdam, Florence, Padova, Paris, among others.
She is an artist who has different facets ... change is what mobilizes and sensitizes her. In the search for his own language, he went from figurative to abstraction. It is characterized by working on the contrasts between black and white but always with some color detail. From there it is that he generates and elaborates a universe full of new ideas that he tries to capture in each blank canvas. Each work is a new challenge for this moving and lively artist like Betiana.
